Inside Sales Representative

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a talented sales professional to take on the role of Inside Sales Representative. The selected candidate will manage the full cycle sales process for academic, government, hospital and international distributor sales from generating leads, developing customer relationships, identifying solutions for customers and ensuring customer satisfaction.  S/he will also manage the sales process for a select region in the US, outside of above defined account types. Successful candidate will provide support to the company by maintaining existing accounts and promoting Chiral Technologies’ activities and events on social media platforms. Additional details:

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and support existing accounts and develop opportunities for sales growth through prospecting
  • Function as a customer advocate and an internal point person for distributors
  • Handle customer submission process for Column Selection services
  • Occasionally attend technical and sales conferences to support assigned territory
  • Manage and maintain confidentiality agreements for Chiral and Arbor
  • Support sales and other departments to achieve common goals

Successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Sage, Salesforce or other CRM
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High energy team player with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously and working independently
  • Goal and incentive oriented and attentive to details

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology or other life science or equivalent, relevant experience


Minimum 2 years’ experience in inside sales in a life science environment

Prior cold calling experience

Prior success in lead generation

Physical Demands:

Much of this job will be performed at a computer or on the phone

Must be available for occasional overnight travel

Must be willing to use required lab safety equipment when necessary
