Chiral Technologies, Inc. Announces multiple Promotions and New Hires
WEST CHESTER, PA, (April 23, 2019) – Chiral Technologies, Inc., part of DAICEL CORPORATION, the global market leader in enantioselective chromatography, begins 2019 by announcing the promotions of two key leaders and the addition of two sales Managers to the Company.
Lisa Newton promoted to Vice President, Sales. Newton joined Chiral Technologies in 2003. In her former role as Sales Manager for the New England states, then later Director of Sales for North Eastern and Western regions, she was instrumental in helping the Company expand their sales activities beyond the traditional core products, and in aligning the Company’s marketing efforts with their sales goals. In this new role as Vice President, Newton will be responsible for all sales activities within Chiral Technologies, including the management of the distributor network in Canada and Latin America.
Stephen Swartz promoted to Business Development Manager Pharma Services. Swartz joined Chiral Technologies in 2014 as the Account Manager, Eastern Region where he successfully managed column sales within the Chiral chromatography product line, while developing new opportunities for sales growth. In this newly created role, Swartz will be responsible for business development and will work in both the U.S. and European regions for the Daicel Chiral Technologies India (DCTI) facilities. He will provide services to the pharmaceutical industry including GMP Analytical Services, Stable Isotope Internal Standards and Impurity Standards.
Reporting to Steve is our new Chiral Technologies Account Manager Tuan-Linh Nguyen. Nguyen brings with him a strong chemistry background and extensive sales experience in chromatography. In this new position, Nguyen will be responsible for maintaining and supporting all existing accounts, while developing new opportunities for sales growth. He will manage the entire sales process, coordinate technical workshops and seminars and attend trade shows.
Chiral Technologies is also excited to welcome an addition to the Company to meet the demands of their new Bioseparations business unit.
Jerry Robinson joins as Business Development Manager – Bioseparations. Robinson brings with him more than 30 years of sales experience in the science and healthcare industry. In this new position, Robinson will be responsible for developing and growing lab products and bioprocess solutions (consumables) sales, market share and awareness of Daicel’s Biopharma business in the U.S.
