Chiral Technologies Extends Its Line of High-Performance Supercritical Fluid Chromatography Columns
WEST CHESTER, Pa. (March 18, 2014) — Chiral Technologies announced the extension of its line of Daicel high-performance supercritical fluid chromatography (SFC) chiral columns. These new optimized 3-mm internal diameter columns are packed with 3-micron immobilized or coated chiral stationary phases (CSPs). The availability of these new SFC columns will help researchers to fully utilize the latest SFC instrumentation.
Research has confirmed the need to develop these new, small particle size columns to be compatible with the latest SFC systems. These columns ensure the highest success rate in SFC method development for enantiomer separations by combining fast analysis time and high resolution.
Daicel polysaccharide CSPs and columns are the most extensively used in analytical and semi-preparative SFC separations.
