Daicel Chiral Technologies Europe Celebrates 30 Years of Advancing Chiral Separation Science
Strasbourg, France – Daicel Chiral Technologies Europe (CTE) is proud to celebrate its 30th anniversary, marking three decades of innovation, technical expertise, and customer support for scientists across Europe and around the world.
Since its founding in 1996, Daicel Chiral Technologies Europe has played a central role in expanding access to advanced chiral separation technologies, supporting pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, academic, and industrial laboratories with industry-leading chromatography solutions and technical expertise.
Over the past 30 years, CTE has grown from a regional operation into a key center for production, innovation, and customer support within the global Daicel Chiral Technologies organization. Throughout that time, the company has continuously expanded its capabilities while helping scientists solve increasingly complex analytical and preparative separation challenges.

Over the years, CTE has contributed to the development, commercialization, and manufacturing of numerous chromatographic technologies, including ion-exchange, zwitterionic, preparative, and amino acid analysis platforms. Most recently, the launch of Vaast™ has strengthened Daicel’s position in amino acid analysis while extending the company’s reach into emerging applications and markets.
CTE has also served as a key production and operational hub for Daicel’s global business, supporting customers and affiliates worldwide while maintaining rigorous quality standards and manufacturing consistency. Today, the organization serves hundreds of customers annually and continues to provide a wide range of technical services, including chiral screening support, method development assistance, column evaluation programs, and application expertise.
The anniversary celebration comes during another milestone year for the organization. In 2026, Daicel Chiral Technologies Europe achieved ISO 9001 certification, joining Daicel Chiral Technologies US, which achieved certification earlier in the year. Together, these accomplishments further demonstrate the company’s commitment to quality, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across its global operations.
